Emergency Water
Populations affected by disasters are generally much more susceptible to illnesses and deaths from diseases which are related to inadequate sanitation, inadequate water supplies and poor hygiene.
That is why Samaritan's Purse responded to the Tsunami in South Asia by providing emergency water sachets to offer immediate safe drinking water.
Once immediate needs have been met a consistent supply of water is frequently required before the old sources come back on stream. In Sri Lanka , Samaritan's Purse treatment plant provided 175,000 litres of clean water every day over a wide area of the country.
You can help us respond immediately to emergency water supply needs following natural disasters or war!
