SPY teams

Managed by our Canada office, SPY Teams (Samaritan's Purse Youth Teams) are large teams of 16-20 year olds from Canada, USA and Europe who travel together to undertake missions in developing countries.

In July 2006 one such team traveled to Cambodia , where they experienced the fascinating Asian culture, whilst visiting Samaritan's Purse projects and working with needy communities.

Steph Garnham reports:
‘I am now home and well after an amazing two weeks in Cambodia with Samaritan's Purse Youth Teams...The trip was an experience that I shall never forget, and one that has taught me so much.'

‘If a year, or two years ago you'd have asked me if I would go to Cambodia for two weeks, I am pretty sure I would have said ‘no' without a second thought...I knew doing this would not be easy so it was going to take my total faith in God and many prayers to get me there.'

We anticipate continuing to work with our Canada office again in 2007 in taking teams of 16-20 year olds on joint Canadian/US/UK teams.
