Samaritan's Purse work alongside local churches and local organisations to identify the needs in the community and to develop local responses to their needs that are culturally appropriate.

We therefore seek to encourage and support sustainable community-based programmes that will empower the community to improve their situation, giving them a chance to escape the cycle of poverty.

Our regional areas of intervention are Africa, Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union.
