Key Staff

Simon Barrington is the Executive Director of Samaritan’s Purse. Simon is responsible for all of our operations in the UK, including Operation Christmas Child, our regional staff and warehouses, and the relationships with our overseas partners. Simon joined Samaritans Purse in September 2003 from BT, where he has held various Senior Management roles, most recently as Programme Director for Customer Satisfaction for BT’s Business Broadband products.

Jonathan Hett is the Head of Programmes & Projects in Samaritan's Purse. He has spent most of his working life in relief and development with five years based overseas in East Africa and fifteen years as Chief Executive of the Uganda Society for Disabled Children, an NGO originally based in London , but now fully "Ugandanised" with a Kampala based Board of Directors. In more recent years he has been working as a freelance consultant for NGOs

Ian Macleod is the Head of Operations and Logistics for Samaritan’s Purse and is responsible for all of the physical operations (including Warehouse and Transport activities) and all of the Regional Managers report to him. Ian joined Samaritans Purse in July 2004 from Cadbury Trebor Bassett, where he held various Senior Management roles in Logistics and Distribution.
